About
About Loebel Labs
Loebel Labs is my independent software studio based in Germany.
I am a computer scientist and software developer with a long background in building, teaching, and thinking about software systems. With Loebel Labs, I am turning that experience toward small, focused apps for people with specific real-world workflows.
I care about software that is clear, useful, and calm. I am less interested in building large platforms than in building tools that solve one problem well enough that people want to keep using them.
Why I started Loebel Labs
I started Loebel Labs because many useful software ideas are too small for large companies but still valuable to the people who need them.
A hobbyist, solo professional, small trade business, or specialist community may not need a massive product. They may need a carefully designed tool that understands their particular routine.
That is the space I want to explore.
How I want the apps to feel
- clear rather than clever
- focused rather than bloated
- calm rather than noisy
- trustworthy rather than manipulative
- useful before they are ambitious
Current phase
Loebel Labs is currently in its pre-launch phase. The first apps are being researched and prototyped, and I am using this site to share the direction before public release.
If you are interested in small, thoughtful software for real workflows, you are in the right place.
